1. Purpose

Resumio is an online service (website and browser extension) that lets you analyze YouTube videos to produce structured summaries, key points, timestamped chapters, and discuss their content using artificial intelligence.

2. Acceptance of the terms

Using the service implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms of Use. If you do not accept these terms, you must not use the service.

3. Access to the service

The service is available free of charge within a monthly quota, and on an extended basis through the Pro subscription (see our Terms of Sale). Some features require creating an account and confirming your email address.

4. User account

• You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity on your account.
• The service is reserved for users aged 15 or over.

5. Acceptable use

When using Resumio, you agree not to:

• bypass or attempt to bypass quotas, limits, or security mechanisms;
• use the service in an automated, bulk, or abusive manner (scraping, bots, reselling access);
• analyze unlawful content or infringe third-party rights;
• disrupt the service or compromise the security of the infrastructure.

Fair use applies even to Pro subscribers: 200 analyses per day and 60 chat messages per hour, to maintain service quality for everyone and prevent automated abuse.

6. Intellectual property

The service, its brand, and its components are protected and remain the property of the publisher. Analyzed videos and their transcripts belong to their rights holders; you are responsible for ensuring your use respects their rights and YouTube's terms of use.

Generated summaries are provided for your personal use. They are AI-produced analyses and do not replace watching the source video.

7. Limitation of liability

Summaries and answers are generated automatically by artificial intelligence models and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. They are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional advice or a source of truth. You remain solely responsible for how you use the information produced.

The service is provided "as is". The publisher does not guarantee uninterrupted availability and shall not be liable for indirect damages resulting from use of, or inability to use, the service.

8. Personal data

Processing of your personal data is described in our privacy policy.

9. Suspension and termination

In the event of a breach of these Terms of Use, the publisher reserves the right to suspend or delete the account concerned, without notice in cases of serious abuse. You may delete your account at any time.

10. Changes to the Terms of Use

The publisher may amend these Terms of Use at any time. The version in force at the time you use the service applies.

11. Governing law

These Terms of Use are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing amicable resolution, the French courts shall have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
